Shree Rasayani was founded by Shri S V Kulkarni in 1980. The company is engaged in the business of designing processes and developing formulations to cater to the special needs of the metal finishing industry.

While the company does manufacture standard products required in metal finishing such as degreasing compounds, electroplating salts, brighteners etc., it specializes in providing bespoke solutions to its customers.

The key people involved in the day to day affairs of the company are:

• Sharad Kulkarni – MSc (Chemistry, London University), MSc (Metallurgy, Birmingham University).

With over 50 years of experience in electroplating and anodizing he is credited with introduction of chloride based zinc cobalt alloy deposition process in India in 1989. Founder of the company now mainly looking after new developments

• Ashish Kulkarni – B. E. (Chemical, Mangalore University), PhD (ChemEngg, Leeds University).

He is working in the company since 1997 and has presented several papers at major national and international conferences. He is a co-inventor of the recent patent filed jointly with automotive major Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd.
His areas of responsibility include general administration, customer relations and production.

• Jaideep Kulkarni – M S (Chemistry, Case Western University), PhD (Chemistry, University College, Cork).

Jaideep is associated with the company since 2010 and his areas of responsibility include new developments, testing and quality control. He brings in his expertise of development and applications of new materials and nano technology to the company.
