Zinco
Chloride based Zinc-Cobalt alloy process
Features
Zinc / Cobalt is enjoying a rise in popularity as an engineering finish. The process developed by Shree Rasayani plates brilliant, ductile and corrosion resistant Zn/Co deposits on iron and steel parts. The cobalt content being 0.1 to 0.6%. Because of the added corrosion protection, as well as the decorative finish that the zinc/cobalt process provides, any progressive companies are capitalising on these benefits. The process can be used for fasteners, automobile and bicycle parts, lighting fixtures, windows hardware etc. The process is suitable for rack and barrel plating. In addition to its performance characteristics, the process requires very little in plating control.
