Metaphos ZN is a specially developed zinc phosphating concentrate, which is rich in zinc phosphates and nitrates. It provides adequate corrosion protection for ferrous parts that have to be stored for a sometime before further processing such as painting or powder coating. It is also used as a temporary protection for fasteners. Metaphos ZN produces very fine grains of zinc phosphates and nitrate on the substrate, which gives a smooth but soft surface finish.
